Job Description:
The primary role of the Sales Engineer is to assist the sales team with the quoting and proposal generation of a solution to meet the end user's needs.
They will also generate Casaplex standardized system quotes per predetermined guidelines.
This position will also be responsible for assisting the sales team with the generation of Customer Change Orders throughout the project lifecycle.
The Sales Engineer may be required to attend client quote/proposal deliveries.
They will act as a technical resource for sales team members as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
Utilize and create standard pricing structures and pricing tools in order to help expedite future proposal cost estimation.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand equipment needs and system requirements and provide sales support.
Architect smart system solutions per scope of work in order to determine rough order of magnitude, estimate for proposed systems.
Refine and create basic scope of work information including supporting floor plan sketches and system diagrams.
Research, develop and modify products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
Identify & help test innovative technologies and products that the business should consider selling Help customers who have problems with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
Identify areas for improvement and communicate these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
Contribute to the evolution of the sales process, achieving sales goals and quotas.
Create and leverage strategic relationships in order to identify potential clients Qualify opportunities through evaluation of client expectations.
Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required College Degree preferred Current CTS Certification through Infocomm preferred Familiarity with smart home and smart office technology required Experience working with or designing the following systems:
networks, audio/video distribution, smart home/office control, video conferencing and security systems including intrusion detection, access control and CCTV systems required Strong knowledge of A/V signal flow required Familiarity with Crestron, Lutron, Biamp and Cisco products required At least 4 years technical experience required Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required Written and spoken English language skills required Effective proposal writing, preparation and presentation skills Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to read blueprints and system design drawings Manipulation of spreadsheets and template documents Recommended Skills Access Controls Audio Signal Flow Cisco Communication Coordinating Distribution Amplifier Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
