Assistant Chief Engineer
Complete Building Services supports over 100 different commercial properties in the Washington DC metro area.
We are hiring an Assistant Chief Engineer to take on a portfolio in Rockville, MD.
They will work hand in hand with our client and our Field Supervisor to ensure the building is running at top efficiency.
Your day to day will vary and your duties could include:
Providing Quality Control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performedPerforming diagnostic and repairs on building systemsPerforming HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety system repairsPreparing work schedulesMaintaining records and prepare required reportsCoordinating and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis Preparing and issuing solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements You Should Have The Assistant Chief Engineer shall possess the following minimum qualificationsUniversal CFC5
years of building engineering experienceDemonstrate expert working knowledge of engineering and building systemsAbility to plan, organize and meet deadlinesAbility to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as requiredProficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project tracking softwareAbility to read, review and understand blueprintsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage subordinates and multiple projects in a fast pace environment EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled Why Youall Love Working With Us Complete Building Services (CBS) is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors.
